The Future of Work@Iowa project set out to reimagine how and where University of Iowa employees work after COVID-19. It has focused largely on understanding the long-term potential for remote and hybrid work, flexible schedules, and other types of work arrangements.
In summer 2021, the Future of Work team released its full report with recommendations for managing work arrangements. The report built on preliminary guidelines released in March 2021.
A flexible-work pilot project began in fall 2021 and runs through June 30, 2022. This report summarizes findings from the pilot and offers recommendations for work arrangements developed after July 1, 2022.
