This wonderful mosaic by Lynn Basa demonstrates the power of the brain. In this video description of the piece, Basa explains how the human brain is firing all the time, even when sleeping. Aside from being a talented artist, Lynn Basa is also the founder of the Milwaukee Avenue Alliance which is an organization dedicated to the cultural and economic reshaping of the three blocks where her studio is located in Chicago. With this organization and Basa’s focus on public art, The Corner Project emerged where local artists are invited to feature their art to attract audiences living in this primarily Hispanic and Polish neighborhood.
