FSDS assists employers and employees in simple interactive processes when questions concerning medical information and computer accessory identification, training and resources exist. FSDS will also mediate when decisions of accommodation cannot be agreed upon. FSDS guides all complex interactive processes by assuring the team receives needed medical information, understands the purpose of the ADA and team member roles and responsibilities and is knowledgeable of resources, as applicable.
FSDS guides the team in determining whether an accommodation is reasonable, identifying needed reasonable accommodations, developing the plan to obtain, implement and follow up on provided accommodations.
