About the Threat Assessment Program

Established by a charge from the Iowa Board of Regents, the Threat Assessment Program identifies, assesses, and manages incidents that threaten the safety and well-being of UI students, staff, faculty, and visitors. Together, the Assessment and Care Team and the Threat Assessment Advisory Group implement the program.

Members of the Assessment and Care Team serve as primary contacts for UI community members concerned about behaviors that indicate potential harm or to provide support to individuals who are in need.
