A survey distributed to 3,000 University of Iowa faculty and staff aims to learn what attracts people to the university and what employees most value.
University Human Resources began sending invitations to the brief online survey on Tuesday, April 10. Recipients were selected randomly from the university's 18,000-plus employees.
The survey takes about five minutes to complete and will remain open through April 24. Responses are confidential, and results will be reported only in aggregate form.
Results will shed light on the characteristics that come to mind when people think about the UI as a place to work. They'll inform new projects that attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff.
