The department will need to complete a Merit Requisition available in the HR Web Transaction System within JOBS@UIOWA to advertise the position. The following forms will need to be attached to the requisition:
- Essential and Marginal Job Function Analysis
- Pre-Interview Selection Criteria
Some positions may also require:
- Special Qualification Requests (the corresponding work sample(s) will need to be attached to the requisition)
- Prior Approval from the Director of Employee and Labor Relations for Confidential Status (contact Employee and Labor Relations to request approval of confidential status)
Forms should be forwarded through workflow to Employment Services.
