Distributing Discipline

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015

After the manager meets in-person with the staff member to administer the discipline, the manager or the HR person must then email a copy of the final discipline document to all of the following offices within one business day (NOTE:  US Mail is no longer required):

AFSCME-Covered Merit Staff

a. AFSCME Council 61 (MUST be sent with READ RECEIPT)
b. AFSCME Local 12
c. University Employee and Labor Relations
d. Health Care Employee and Labor Relations (for health care staff only)

SEIU-Covered P&S Staff

a. SEIU
b. University Employee and Labor Relations
c. Health Care Employee and Labor Relations (for health care staff only)

All Other Merit, MSE, and P&S Staff

a. University Employee and Labor Relations
b. Health Care Employee and Labor Relations (for health care staff only)
