Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Resources

Find a physician, connect with 24/7 support, or research a health topic in the "Knowledge Center," a part of the "Health and Wellness" section of the website.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation is for individuals who need to reduce cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol through a regular and tailored exercise program. For assistance contact University of Iowa Health Care at 319-467-2000.

Cancer Information Service

The Cancer Information Service provides answers to questions from patients, family members, and survivors. They offer information on specific types of cancer, tests, and coping skills. For assistance email cancer-information@uiowa.edu or call 800-237-1225.

Diabetes Clinic

Provides individual and group diabetes self-management education. Contact University of Iowa Health Care at 319-356-2550 or 319-356-1616, pager 7215.

Spine Clinic

The Spine Clinic is a division of the University of Iowa Health Care Department of Orthopaedics. The clinic offers patients traditional treatments as well as an alternative, multidisciplinary approach to chronic neck and back pain.
