The University of Iowa is the nation's premier center for creative writing.
Since 1967, over 1,600 writers from more than 160 countries have been in residence at Iowa. The International Writing Program has connected the university with the world, bringing writers to campus and conducting in-person and digital exchanges to help make the writing university a global phenomenon.
In this 90-minute session, you'll learn about the program's storied history, its impact on literature around the world, and hear from some of the international writers who are in residence at UI this fall.
