Attachments can be deleted by Talent Acquisition support staff. Email Talent Acquisition with a list of the file names you would like deleted. It is important to only request files for deletion for any position(s) you are no longer in consideration for.

If you had an account before the new system went live (September 10, 2018), and want a copy of your old application, please email Talent Acquisition.

Log-on to your jobs account and visit your "Job Submissions" section of your profile. The status of your application with be listed next to "Submission Status." The review and hiring process is handled by each individual department. Contact information for the department/recruiter is listed on the job posting and should be the point of contact for additional application questions.

Contact information is listed on each job posting and should be the first point of contact. Each department oversees their job postings. 

At times, there may not be any current job openings for a classification. New positions post just about everyday and the job's site updates multiples times per day. It is suggested to check openings a couple times a week.

Internal postings will be posted with all other positions. Internal positions can only be seen by accessing the job's site through Employee Self Service. To access the site, the employee will need to go through the following pathway: Employee Self Service >> My Career >> Apply for Job Opportunities. The postings may not be labeled as "internal," but will be listed with all openings (internal & external). 

Faculty, Post Doctoral, Temporary, and Student employees do not have access to internal merit/staff postings.

All passwords need to be at least 9-20 characters long, have at least 1 number, 1 letter, and 1 symbol (there is no requirement for a capital letter)

At log-in page, try "Forgot your password?" or "Forgot your username?" link. This will generate an email on file to reset password/send username information. 

Contact the ITS Help Desk if you need additional assistance.

When browsing jobs, the left hand side of the screen has a filtering tool to filter part-time from full-time postings. The percent of time for the position will be listed within the posting.

You will receive an automated email after the application is successfully submitted. To see all jobs you have applied to, visit "Job Submissions" section of your profile. This section will list all postings you have started to, or successfully applied to, with the status of your application for each position.

Log-on to your jobs account. Go to "Job Submissions" section of profile. Click on the blue "edit" link for the submission to be updated. This will take the you through the submission process (i.e. personal, education, experience & credentials, file uploads, esignature, etc.). to make changes. Be sure to save each page and continue to the next until you hit the "submission" button at the end of the process. 

Your old account will first need to be updated with a personal email address (personal email address can be sent to TA-Support@uiowa.edu for Talent Acquisition to update). Once the profile is updated with a personal email, you will need to contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance with resetting your password.
