FSDS works towards the development and implementation of a University infrastructure capacity for people with disabilities to feel welcomed and supported; providing an employment environment of which other academic institutions aspire and that includes but is not limited to:
- A leave and disability system design that builds and sustains employee/employer relationships;
- A strong coalition of existing and new leave and disability resources that is visible and available to applicants, employees and employers;
- A centralized leave and disability service structure and coordination system for applicants, employees and employers; and
- A knowledge sharing system concerning disability within employment that reaches all employees.
