The John Martin Rare Book Room (JMRBR) houses nearly 7,000 volumes of original works that represent classic contributions to the health sciences from the 15th through 21st centuries. The JMRBR specializes in printed works covering anatomy, nursing, medicinal plans, surgery, psychiatry, dentistry, ophthalmology, dermatology, and more.

Notes: The John Martin Rare Book Room is on the fourth floor of Hardin Library. Take the Pentacrest Cambus or the West Iowa City (#10) bus from downtown. Parking is available in the Newton Road Ramp or metered parking is available outside of the ramp, across from MERF.
