2020 Partners in Progress Team Award

UI Healthcare – Patient Financial Services HR Team
Revenue Cycle Enhancement Project

The “Partners in Progress” Team Award is presented to a group that has worked together for a minimum of six months and has achieved a successful outcome while epitomizing the competencies of promoting the value and necessity of teamwork, showing respect for differences and diversity of perspectives, and creating a team environment of accountability and commitment for reaching project and organizational goals.

The Patient Financial Services (PFS) HR team executed a nine-month organizational redesign process focused on maximizing resources and organizational efficiency in Patient Financial Services. Successful outcomes include a new organizational structure, management of the attrition, reassignment and internal hiring process to realign staff functions, fostered a supportive and helpful culture for those employees who were affected and created a work environment that is welcoming, inclusive and uplifting.  The team also implemented a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee in PFS, committed to identifying and sharing DEI resources.

Congratulations to Ray, Hilary, Kiley and Hailey on earning the 2020 “Partners in Progress” Team Award and for their significant contributions in the successful implementation of this initiative.
