The Glass Facility, housed within the Department of Chemistry, is responsible for assisting in the design and fabrication of all glass scientific equipment, as well as repair of existing equipment. It has been part of the University of Iowa since 1922.
During this tour you'll learn about the history of the Glass Facility and have an opportunity to try your hand at basic glassblowing manipulation.
