Participants will learn how medications are developed and manufactured, as well as the many ways pharmacists support other medical professionals and patients to ensure medications are appropriate and safe for patients.
You will hear from students, faculty, and staff at the College of Pharmacy and tour academic facilities, as well as University of Iowa Pharmaceuticals, a drug development company housed within the college.

Notes: The College of Pharmacy is across the street from the Field House. There is limited parking in front of the building, but the best way to get there is to walk or take Cambus. Red Route and Interdorm stop in front of Slater Hall, which is directly in front of our building.
