Ilona Lichty, MS, RD, LD
Ilona is a registered dietitian who has over 20 years of experience in individual and group counseling in nutrition and life-style modifications, with emphasis on weight management, stress reduction, and physical activity. She is a certified Health and Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches.
Ilona is passionate about empowering people to build healthy habits to enjoy their lives to the fullest. She greatly enjoys working with others to help them address the issues that prevent them from achieving their personal wellness goals.
Melanie Cuchna, MPH, CHES
Melanie is the Lifestyle Coach and Program Coordinator for the Diabetes Prevention Program. She also provides one on one health coaching and supports the delivery of the My liveWELL Portal and other liveWELL programs and services. She loves to help employees celebrate their wins and brainstorm solutions for achieving well-being and happiness in their lives. She strongly believes in the power of small changes and a positive mindset.
Carla Melby-Oetken, BA
Carla has served as a Health Coach with liveWELL since 2008 and has worked in counseling and wellness for nearly 30 years. Carla cares deeply about her fellow UI employees and it is her joy to help people discover ways they can improve their health, energy and well-being. Specialty areas include resilience, stress management, and smoking cessation.
Allison Hugo, MA, ACE-PT, RYT
Allison teaches Health and Physical Activity Skill Courses for the Health and Human Physiology Department as well as Group Exercise classes for Recreational Services. She has her master’s degree in sports management, is an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, and recently obtained her 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. She is passionate about supporting wellness in the workplace by creating goals, building routines, and finding balance in all areas of your life as a way to maintain and support health and wellness.
Diana Kremzar, MPH
Diana is the Director of UI Family Services and a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She appreciates the demands that employees are dealing with, both at work and in their personal lives, and helps them create goals to prioritize their own well-being. Diana is knowledgeable about the well-being resources available both through the University of Iowa and in the community.
Megan Hammes, MS, MCHES
Megan is the Senior Director of UI Wellness. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) and is certified through the Wellcoaches® Health Coach training program. She is passionate about the concept of employee well-being and the promotion of a work environment that supports healthy choices.
Megan works with individuals and small groups to help them set attainable, realistic goals that are unique to their wants and needs. Topics often focus on weight management, developing tailored physical activity plans, and making appropriate nutritional choices. Megan enjoys providing individuals with skills and tools to help them meet and exceed their personal wellness goals.
