The College of Engineering's LEED-certified Seaman's Center annex is a world-class center for teaching and discovery.
The tour will highlight the green roof, solar array, and classrooms. Other stops include:
- Lichtenberg Engineering Library creative space and tool library
- Engineering Computer Services labs and classrooms
- Engineering Design and Fabrication Center, which offers consulting and design services, 3D printing, UV printing, machining, waterjet cutting, and laser cutting services
- The Workbench, which is a new student marketplace featuring hand tools, saws, sanders, a laser cutter, and CNC simulators that support hands-on learning and prototyping
