Held in the historic UI Field House, employees visited throughout the day to get their flu shot, have their blood pressure checked, indulge in a chair massage, participate in the Mindfulness Labyrinth, and learn about various on- and off-campus services.

The University of Iowa has partnered with SkillBridge, a federal program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense to help military members gain civilian work experience during their last six months of service.

The goal of the pilot program is to measure the feasibility of a GLP-1 program for weight management that is flexible, accessible, and financially sustainable for UI employees and the institution.

The 2025 benefits open enrollment period takes place Nov. 1–15, 2024, for faculty and staff. Any changes made to benefits elections will be effective Jan. 1, 2025.
