Year-end W-2 and Affordable Care Act (ACA) 1095 tax forms are available annually in January. You have the option to receive these forms electronically or by mail. If you enroll in online delivery, you will have access to your year-end tax forms about one week before the forms are mailed. The IRS allows for electronic delivery of W-2 and 1095 forms if permission is given.

You can enroll in online delivery via Employee Self-Service:

  1. Log into Employee Self-Service through hris.uiowa.edu.
  2. Select the Time & Pay tile.
  3. Select Year-End Tax Information under the Taxes section.
  4. Navigate to Forms Delivery Options.
  5. Choose online delivery to receive your tax forms electronically.

If you enroll in online delivery, your preference will remain in effect unless you change it. If you leave or retire from the university, your W-2 delivery preference will remain in effect but your 1095 will be mailed.
