LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform that offers thousands of courses on various topics, such as business, technology, creative skills, and personal development. You can access LinkedIn Learning anytime, anywhere, and on any device. You can also earn certificates of completion and share them on your LinkedIn profile. 
 
LinkedIn Learning is FREE to University of Iowa students, faculty, and staff.  

The University of Iowa has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide free access to all staff and faculty members. To activate your account, visit the LinkedIn Learning website and log in with your HawkID and password. You will be asked to connect your LinkedIn profile, which is optional but recommended. Once you activate your account, you can start browsing and taking courses. 

Yes, you can still get free access through the University of Iowa. If you have a personal LinkedIn Learning account, you can either merge it with your University of Iowa account or keep it separate. If you merge your accounts, you will be able to access all your previous learning history, certificates, and recommendations. If you keep your accounts separate, you will have two separate logins and learning histories. 

No, using LinkedIn Learning is not required, but it is highly encouraged. LinkedIn Learning can help you enhance your skills, learn new ones, and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in your field. You can also use LinkedIn Learning to support your professional development goals and career aspirations. 

There are several ways to find courses that are relevant to you. You can use the search bar to look for specific topics, skills, or instructors. You can also browse the library by categories, such as Business, Technology, Creative, or Personal Development. You can also explore the recommendations that are based on your LinkedIn profile, learning history, and interests.  

You can manage your learning preferences and settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen and selecting Settings. From there, you can adjust your video playback speed, captions, transcripts, email notifications, and privacy settings. You can also change your language preference and connect or disconnect your LinkedIn profile. 

You can track and share your learning progress and achievements by clicking on My Learning in the top menu bar. From there, you can see your learning history, certificates, badges, skills, and interests. You can also share your certificates of completion and badges on your LinkedIn profile, social media, or email. 

You can get help or support with LinkedIn Learning by clicking on the Help Center link at the bottom of the page. From there, you can access the FAQs, tutorials, guides, and contact information. You can also submit a support request or provide feedback through the Help Center or email its-training@uiowa.edu
