University of Iowa students work all kinds of jobs on and off campus. Campus jobs most commonly fall into two categories:

• Part-time hourly positions that are open to all qualified students
• Work-Study positions open to students who qualify for Work-Study as part of their financial aid package

Most of the information on this site covers part-time hourly positions. The university's Office of Student Financial Aid offers information about Work-Study.

Iowa law limits the amount of hours students can work in any given week. International students  need to be award of visa requirements and other regulations.
