The 2023 Health and Well-Being Fair brought together dozens of units from across campus and UI Health Care, as well as local organizations, to encourage University of Iowa faculty and staff to prioritize health and well-being in all aspects of their lives.

Held in the historic UI Field House, employees visited throughout the day to get their flu shot, have their blood pressure checked, indulge in a chair massage, or even play a game of pickleball. Giveaways were present at numerous booths and attendees had the chance to win door prizes as they arrived.

One of the main goals of the Health and Well-Being Fair is to connect UI employees to campus well-being resources like the liveWELL Health Coach service, the UI Ergonomics Program, Family Services, and more.

The Health and Well-Being Fair is just one example of the university's ongoing mission to embed health and well-being into all aspects of campus culture. Taking advantage of opportunities like the fair empowers individuals and work units to prioritize mental, physical, and financial health at home and in the workplace.

Participating campus units included the Department of Health and Human Physiology, Recreational Services, The Food Pantry at Iowa, UI Employee Assistance Program, UI Quick Care & Urgent Care Clinics, and more.

Sponsors of this year's event included liveWELL, Recreational Services, UI Health Care, Staff Council, and TIAA.
