What’s Happening?
Health Alliance plans will no longer be available to University of Iowa retirees. To help you understand your options and make informed decisions, we’re partnering with the Johnson County Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) to offer informational sessions.
What You’ll Learn
These sessions will cover:
- Your Guaranteed Issue rights due to the end of Health Alliance coverage
- The basics of Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans in Iowa
- Key differences between the two types of plans
- How to prepare for Medicare Open Enrollment this fall
