Where to Go for Help

College/Org Senior HR Leaders and Faculty HR Contacts: Begin here with questions about access and opportunity. Your local senior HR leader or faculty HR contact can refer to other resources as needed.

Office of Civil Rights Compliance (OCRC): Housed within the Division of Access, Opportunity, and Diversity, (OCRC) oversees reporting and review of bias, harassment, discrimination, free speech, and sexual misconduct concerns in accordance with Federal and State of Iowa law.

The OCRC combines Title IX, gender equity, equity investigations, and ADA compliance functions.

Faculty and Staff Disability Services: A unit of University Human Resources, Faculty and Staff Disability Services consults with employees and departments on matters related to employment and health conditions. Its goal: Helping people with disabilities feel welcome and supported.
