The voices of the university's faculty and staff played an important part in the Future of Work@Iowa initiative. University Human Resources and the Office of the Provost took steps to ensure the widest possible reach for input, including:
- Virtual faculty focus groups were conducted in December 2020 and January 2021.
- Colleges and divisions held virtual focus groups for Merit and P&S staff during March 2021.
- Input and feedback from these sessions was aggregated and shared with campus leadership, Future of Work@Iowa committees, and shared governance leadership.
Campus input informed recommendations in the Future of Work report, which includes summaries of focus group findings.
